Exercise #13 Good Afternoon America # 1: Hello, I'm ___________ and welcome to the show. This afternoon we continue with our travel series. Today we'll drive the highest road in the Rocky Mountains and catch the biggest fish in northern Manitoba. #2: And I'm ________________. We start today with a look at a place to take your family on vacation this summer. One of the fastest growing recreation areas in the country-the Rocky Mountains. In Colorado alone, there are 52 peaks that reach 14,000 feet. One of them has a road to the top. And we'll be back with more in our travel series when Good Afternoon America continues in a moment. #1 In our next segment we travel to northern Manitoba, Canada, where the land is tundra, the fish are hungry and huge and the mosquitoes are vicious. Thousands of sports fishermen travel to Canada each year to fish the many lakes and rivers in northern Manitoba. Here in northern Manitoba, the big draw is the Northern Pike, a fish that exceeds thirty pounds in these lakes. V/O: The fisherman you're seeing here is Barry Jones, well known in the fishing industry for his success in pursuing the Northern Pike. #2: If you would like more information on the many fishing and hunting lodges in Canada, you can call the Canadian Tourism Hotline at 1-800-BIG-PIKE. And we'll be back with more adventure after this message. That's our show for today. Please tune in again tomorrow when our guests will include the winner of this year's Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes.
